Baggage Policy

Air Djibouti has a different baggage policy for carry and checked baggage. Which cabin class you're flying will impact your baggage requirements. Regulations may vary slightly depending on equipment of the aircraft and government restrictions at the destination you intend to fly to.

Carry-on Baggage

• Economy class: 1 item up to 10 kg with maximum dimensions of 55 x 25 x 35 cms.

• Executive class: 1 item up to 10kg with maximum dimensions of 55 x 25 x 35 cms plus an additional smaller item which does not exceed 8kgs.

NOTE: there may be some flexibility, depending on the equipment of the aircraft and/or the restrictions imposed by governmental regulation.

Checked Baggage

• Economy class: 1 item up to 23kg and the dimensions cannot exceed 158 cms (height + length + width).

• Executive class: up to 2 pieces, each one not weighing more than 32kgs and the dimensions cannot exceed 158 cms (height + length + width).

Cabin Classes

Air Djibouti offers the option of an Economy class or Business class.

Economy Class

Air Djibouti offer Economy Class. On-board an economy class flight, the cabin crew will be available throughout the flight. Air Djibouti flights offer a high-quality snack or meal that will be served along with a selection of drinks and hot beverages.

Business Class

Air Djibouti provides Business Class onboard their flights. A choice of plated meals or snacks will be offered, served on bone china, by the dedicated Business Class crew.

Business passengers can make the most of premium lounges. This includes a complimentary hot meal/beverage, wi-fi, and a quiet and relaxed environment.

What is Business Class seating like?

On board a Business Class flight there is a separate cabin, with comfortable reclining seats, and no middle seat.

Check-In

Air Djibouti currently does not have the option for Online or Mobile check-in. Airport check-in is the only available option and the airport recommends checking in no later than 1-hour before departure.

Check-in times vary at each airport so it's advised that passengers check beforehand so as to avoid missing the scheduled departure. As a guide, Air Djibouti recommends checking in no later than 1 hour before the scheduled departure of the flight.
