Republic Airways Baggage Policy
Baggage allowance depends on the policies of Republic Airlines' partners.
Republic Airways as Delta Air Lines
- You're allowed one carry-on bag and one personal item (such as a purse, laptop bag or small backpack). Carry-on baggage mustn't exceed the total dimensions of 45 linear inches (115cm) or weigh more than 10kg.
- Checked baggage must not weigh over 23kg (51lbs) for Basic Economy, Main Cabin and Delta Comfort passengers.
Republic Airways as American Airlines
- Carry-on baggage cannot exceed the maximum dimensions of 56 x 36 x 23cm (22 x 14 x 9 inches). One personal item is also allowed.
- Checked baggage mustn't be larger than total dimensions of 158cm (63 inches) or weigh more than 23kg (51lbs).
Republic Airways as United Airlines
- For United flights, carry-on bags must fit in the dimensions of 56 x 36 x 23cm (22 x 14 x 9 inches). A personal item is also allowed, not exceeding the dimensions of 43 x 25 x 22cm (17 x 10 x 9 inches).
- Checked bags must fit in the linear dimensions of 157cm (62 inches). The maximum weight will vary depending on the fare, ranging from 23 to 32kg (51-71lbs).
Republic Airways Cabin Classes
Economy Class is the only cabin class that Republic offer, regardless of which airline it is operating on behalf of.
Economy Class
- Economy Class gives passengers everything they need during their flight. Although facilities might slightly differ depending on which airline Republic is operating on behalf of, passengers can usually find entertainment in the form of an inflight magazine and will be given the option to order food and drink from the inflight menu.
- Seats are set out in a 2 x 2 formation with sufficient personal space. The cabin is designed to give passengers plenty of space above the head when standing and a good amount of legroom when seated.
Republic Airways Check-In Information
Republic Airways' check-in procedures are managed by the airline it is operating flights for (either American, Delta or United).
Online Check-In
- Online check-in is available for Republic Airways flights. You will need to find out which airline that Republic Airways is flying for (e.g., United, American or Delta) and then navigate to the main carrier's website to check-in.
- American Airlines: Available from 24 hours before the flight until 45 minutes before departure (or 90 minutes for international flights).
- United Airlines: Available from 24 hours before flight departure.
- Delta Air Lines: Available from 24 hours before the flight is scheduled to depart.
Airport Check-In
- You can check in at the airport for your Republic Airways flight. Simply find the check-in counter for the airline displayed on your ticket. Self-service kiosks may also be available in the airport.
