Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3

I'm a huge Call of Duty fan, and I can't wait for Modern Warfare 3 to come out! Anyone else here getting it too? I have all the previous Call of Duty games on Wii, and I've played Black Ops on PS3, and I loved playing them ! I'm certain that I'm going to get MW3 once it comes out (and then maybe I'll play my PS3 more often ).

I'm buying it, but not because I'm a fan, because I'm far from a fan of this game. But I need to to make money off of. So in terms of fattening my pocket, certain games I HAVE to purchase. This is one of them.

By making money off of it, do you mean by hosting mod lobbies, or is there some other method of making money off of Modern Warfare 3? Please share with me your method if it's not hosting mod lobbies (you can PM me it if you want)!

By making money off of it I mean I'll be reopening a website I had for gaming tournaments where the winners would get amazon gift codes or psn/live cards

Oh nice idea, I've never actually thought of that. Do players have to pay you to join the tournaments, or do you get all your money from advertisements on your site?

I personally cannot wait for Modern Warfare 3 to release either! I haven't really played any other Call of Duty's besides Black Ops, but I am prestige 15 rank 50 on there, have been for a while now, and I really enjoy playing it in my spare time. I'm not really a nerd or a fanboy I just enjoy playing it in my spare time.

My profit comes from the advertising. I don't ask or make anyone pay. Nobody pays a fee of any kind. It is a first come, first serve thing though. I usually allow the games to fill up as many players as the game itself allows. I ran about 5 tournaments a day last year.

I was an avid Call of Duty player in the past when Modern Warfare 1 just came out. The game was truly amazing and I played it for hours on end. When Call of Duty: MW2 came out they totally destroyed it with the ridiculous care packages and horrible spawns. People could just spawn camp you for the entire came and get a chopper gunner then call it good game. I decided not to buy BlackOps and waited for MW3.

With MW3 I was kind of intrigued with their improved graphics and gameplay features, but the one thing that dragged me away from this game was the spawn trapping. This has become a common thing among MW3 players to spawn trap and entire team just to spawn camp them until the time limit runs out. I find this really corny for people to pull this kind of glitch off, but they do it because they find it funny or cool. I actually ended up selling my copy of this game on ebay. Didn't find it amusing that 40% of my games consisted of being spawn trapped or my team doing the trapping.

I haven't got MW3 yet, but I have MW2 and Black Ops, so I think that MW3 will be great. I may get it soon.

To be honest. I don't like MW3 all that much. I feel it's gone really stale as a series and just not as good as previous titles.

I have to admit, the campaign was fucking pimp. Other than that, just slightly better graphics and it was the same as MW2. But the survival mode is pretty decent.
