    I only know one game well enough to make a recommendation - World of Warcraft. Be prepared to spend a lot of your time in that virtual world.

    I would also recommend Assassins Creed Brotherhood, it's an amazing game.

    If you want something a little different try Alice Madness Returns. I found the game totally addictive. It is beautiful to look at and the story is very dark, twisted and comic.
